| ... I find two big problems. One, the lenght of each exhaust pipe are not equal. Two, the exhaust pipe for the rear cylinders on each side point directly to the turbo flange just like the stock manifolds do. Having different leghts will create a problem when they mix on the collector as they have different speed and temperatures creating unwanted turbulence. The rear pipe pointing to the turbo directly creates a high risk of the turbulence and the turbo back pressure going back using the shortest way: back to the head and cylinder. This is the reason the VG30DETT engine with stock manifolds burns out the rear cylinders faster than any other (I have seen and heard of this so many time is not funny). To really accelerate the exhaust gases and avoid back pressure into the heads, the pipes must have a design similar to the Petroof Headers. The ideal header would have equal lenght pipes and enough turns and expansions to accelerate the exhaust gases and don't let them go back. If I was going to spend $500 on headers, I rather save more money, and let the shop create a better design. I have asked many times to several local shops and the average price is around $1K plus materials (usually around 100-200, or around 500+ if you want stainless steel). You will probably have to do some "finishing" later to make them smother inside, but nothing mayor. Of course, each person will choose whatever fits better ther pocket, as well as whatever they think is the best option. I'm just giving my opinion :)
